8.8 Redwoods Sound Healing Training
Level 1–3 Sound Healing Training
August 8–15, 2027 · Spirit Camp · Mendocino, California
8 days to deepen your practice
Held in the heart of the redwoods at Spirit Camp, this eight-day training brings together Level 1 through Level 3 sound healing study in one immersive week. Join Oso Sound Healing, Avery Whitmore, and a team of sound healing facilitators to deepen:
Your presence.
Your technique.
Your creative expression.
Your confidence in sharing sound.

The experience
Each day blends instruction, practice, and integration. You’ll refine your awareness, develop your relationship with instruments, and practice holding space with clarity and confidence.
Foundational and advanced playing techniques, vocal work, and a deeper understanding of music come into practice through small ensembles and individual sessions. Both include real-time feedback from the lead facilitators.
We begin on August 8, 2027. Alongside the training, we’ll hike in the forest and take a trip to the ocean. Morning yoga and meditation support the work each day.

Hands-on mentorship, real-time feedback, vocal work, and small ensemble playing give you space to explore your expression within a community grounded in curiosity and care.

Drum-making workshop
Led by Matt Canale, the drum-making workshop is an opportunity to craft your own drum and explore its sound through rhythm and shared playing. Work with your hands, learn the making process, and deepen your relationship with an instrument you’ve created.
