The program
Deepen your relationship with sound and learn to guide sessions for others. Across twelve weeks, you’ll develop your listening and playing, explore how instruments work together, and shape sound journeys of your own.
Live teaching and recorded modules give you a foundation to work from. Your mentor group offers a place to ask questions, share your practice, and receive feedback as you develop your approach.
How you’ll learn
- Live teaching
- Teaching, demonstrations, coached practice, and questions with the cohort. Replays let you return to the sessions during the training.
- Recorded modules
- Lessons to study between live sessions, covering instrument foundations, voice, breath, music theory, and facilitation.
- Small-group mentorship
- A consistent mentor group, arranged by time zone, for practice, discussion, and feedback on your playing.
- Practice and personal feedback
- Apply what you’re learning in your own practice and sessions you lead for others. Your mentor reviews your work, including a final recorded sound journey.
What you’ll explore
- Sound healing instruments
- Crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, rainsticks, and Waves. Explore playing techniques, listening, and ways to combine instruments.
- Voice, breath, and music
- Work with your voice and breath. Learn intervals, chords, and rhythm, and how these inform the instruments you bring together.
- Creating a sound journey
- Practice sequencing, pacing, transitions, and opening and closing a session. Explore the OSO Method while developing your own approach.
- Care in facilitation
- Consent, sound safety, and ethical practice when holding sessions for one person or a group.

Before you join
How does the schedule work?
The program begins February 3, 2027. Live cohort calls are on Wednesdays, 10:00 to 11:30am Pacific, through April 28, 2027, with a few practice weeks between calls. Mentor groups, recorded study, and independent practice fill the weeks in between, and every live call is recorded.
How much time should I set aside?
The training comprises 100 hours across twelve weeks, including teaching, recorded study, reading, practice, and assessed work. The time you set aside will vary with the assignments and live sessions.
What instruments and equipment will I need?
At least three crystal singing bowls and three additional instruments or sound elements, plus a laptop, headphones, and a stable internet connection. You do not need every instrument covered in the curriculum. Talk with us about what you have before choosing anything new.
What if I’m new to sound healing?
You’re in the right place. We’ve built this training from the ground up for people who are new to sound healing. Over three months, you’ll develop your listening, instrument skills, and confidence guiding sessions, with practice and mentorship along the way. We’d be honored to support you on your sound healing path.
What is required to complete the training?
Complete the coursework and documented practice, lead four one-to-one sessions for mentor review, and submit a final recorded sound journey of 15 to 30 minutes with the required supporting work by May 5, 2027. On completion, you receive an OSO Sound Healing certificate of completion for 100 hours.
Are the sessions recorded?
Live-session replays and recorded modules are available throughout the training.
Can I arrange a payment plan?
Yes, payment plans are available. Please contact us if you’d like support with payment options for this training. We’re happy to help.
